Tacker // NonFort Treamers

The exhibition “NonFort Treamers” in the Galerie der Künstler, Munich, was created out of the reflection on the last year of the pandemic. With the advent of digital exhibition spaces, to purely digital works of art, the NFTs.

On different levels, works with their naturally promised properties are set in relation to one another and their intended purpose is deprived or reinterpreted..


Paintings in space, piled up as a fragile house of cards („Bildaufbau im Raum“), which exists with each individual painted canvas in different techniques (including oil, acrylic, gouache, vinyl, oil pastel) with an individual atmosphere.

It is also created as an independent, coherent sculpture in the room, which leaves the wall and, as a result, dissolves from two-dimensionality into three-dimensionality, as well as a superordinate symbol, the collapsible world of painting. The value of a painting that would no longer be linked to the atmosphere, but existed solely as a symbolic image in the digital world. With each screen extinguishing the details, modifying the color and eliminating the unique.

The projection (Lüde in v Ekcten), with self-composed music, as well as film and 3D animations, again consisting of work materials, is designed as an abstract theater piece. This work refers to the existing preplex works on the wall of the gallery of artists. In “Balagonette” the preplexes are projected modified as required and made interchangeable by means of printed image foils. A 3D animation of the exhibition “Lüde in vii Ekcten”, which I implemented in the Hamburger Kunsthalle in 2020/21, is shown on the tube TV. An exhibition that is only visible in the museum for a limited period of time has been preserved here in three dimensional. It can be seen on my website and, as exhibited here, copied on DVD, reproduced and made unrestrictedly viewable.

The shown paintings in „Balagonette“ refer to the existing preplex works on the wall of the „Galerie der Künstler“.
